DMX began rapping in the middle of the 1990s. In May 1998 he recorded his debut album, It's DARK and HELL IS HOT. Through the years, he's recorded several albums, such as...And Then there was X, the Great Depression Year of the Dog...Again Redemption of the Beast and Flesh of my Flesh. The album titled...And Then Was X, was nominated by The Grammy award for Best Rap Album in 2001. Apart from his rap activities, he has also been featured in films like Lords of the Street Belly Top Five Exit Wounds That Will Never Be Alone, The Bleeding Romeo Has to Die Backstage Beyond the Law Lockjaw Rise of the Kulev Serpent and Fast and Fierce Death Race.
