Ashanti Shequoiya, also known in the media as Ashanti was born on 13 October 1980 in Glen Cove New York United States. She is a musician, singer and actor who hails from in the United States. Ashanti was first discovered when she was a teenager and eventually signing with Murder Inc. Records in 2002. She appeared in The Fat Joe's What's Luv? song that the same year.
