Anoushka Shankar

Anoushka Shankar is an Indian-born British American singer and musician, is well known for her musical talents. She is also the youngest and first woman to be awarded a British House of Commons Award. Anoushka Sitar Shankar was an Indian young sitar singer. She is the daughter of Ravi Shankar and a former student. She was born London in 1982. During the first few years of her life she was split in London New Delhi. The first time she performed was on stage in New Delhi at the tender age of thirteen. In Encinitas the state of California, in 1999 she earned the high-school degree. Anouskha, who is only 17 years old, has had a successful performing and recording career. She regularly accompanies her father during performances, something she's done for quite a few years. She released her debut self-titled album Anourag in 1998. The Grammy Award-winning Live at Carnegie Hall was released two years after her debut solo album. Alongside performing at many of the biggest venues, she also has an extensive stage presence. Anoushka Shankar's work isn't restricted to just music. Bapi: The love of My Live is her 2002 memoir, that was a tribute Ravi Shankar. She's also acted. In 2003's film Dance Like a Man, in which she played an Bharat Natyam dancer young girl. Anoushka Shankar's professional career is continuing to grow and we're likely to see many things from her in years to follow. Anoushka lived a long time between London and Delhi in her early years. Later, she moved to California to finish high school. When she was nine years old, she began her studies in music under her father, who made her first on the sitar 4 years later during his birthday party in Delhi. Her father traveled around the globe with her, and she also gained a variety of experience.
